We are thrilled by this recognition of our colleague and Principal Investigator in our research program. As a professor of microbiology, Elisabeth Grohmann combines her expertise in antibiotic resistance, biofilms, and molecular biological processes with new research avenues made possible by modern AI research. Her work centers on a highly relevant question: how can we better understand the emergence and spread of antibiotic resistance, and contain it in the long term?
